With a massive ??? HP, Chaos has no weaknesses and is resistant to all forms of damage. His ability to cast Haste on himself is his most dangerous move, turning his already powerful attacks into party-wiping blows.
Battle Strategy
This is the final battle; use everything you have. The Black Wizard MUST cast Haste on your Knight and Master. The White Wizard MUST cast NulAll, Protera, and Invisira. Your physical fighters should use the Masamune and Excalibur, buffed with Saber from the Giant’s Gloves. If Chaos casts Haste on himself, your White Wizard must prioritize healing with Curaja every turn.
Focus entirely on physical damage. Offensive magic like Flare and Holy will do minimal damage. Your mages are purely for support. Buff your fighters, keep your defenses up, and be prepared for a long, difficult fight, especially if he decides to heal himself with Curaja. Use Full-Life to revive any fallen party members immediately.
After the Battle
Upon defeating Chaos, the time loop is broken, and the darkness is banished from the world. The Warriors of Light, their task complete, fade away as legends, having saved the world and fulfilled the prophecy. Congratulations on beating Final Fantasy!
