The last of the four fiends, Tiamat, blocks the way to the final floor of the Chaos Shrine in Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster. She returns with a staggering 5,500 HP and the same deadly arsenal of party-wide elemental attacks, making her the toughest of the fiend rematches.

Just like her first encounter, Tiamat has no weaknesses and is highly resistant to elemental magic. You must rely on non-elemental damage and defensive magic.

Battle Strategy

The strategy is identical to the first fight, but now you have access to your strongest spells and more HP. Your White Wizard must cast NulAll immediately. Your Black Wizard must cast Haste on your fighters. With her massive HP pool, this is an endurance fight. Use Flare and Holy for magical damage, and have your hasted, sabered Knight and Master attack every turn.

Don’t hold back, this is the penultimate boss fight. Use your Elixirs if needed. Keeping NulAll active is the single most important action in this battle. Heal consistently and keep up the pressure with your strongest attacks to bring her down.

After the Battle

The last fiend is finally defeated for good. All that remains is to descend to the final floor and confront the mastermind behind the time loop: Chaos.
